On the 20th - 21st October, Gary Forrest, Founder and CEO of Pure IP, and Paul Enright, Operations Director, will be attending the 'CIO Event' at the Radisson Blu hotel in Heathrow.

This event is held globally every year, and features over 100 top CIOs from each region taking part in panel discussions, workshops, lectures and think-tanks to champion new innovations and highlight opportunities and best practices. The CIO series currently operates in UK&I, Europe, Middle East, Africa and North America.

Megatrends in IT

Much of the focus of the event this year will be on the current 'Megatrends' driving all the current changes in IT – namely: Cloud Computing, Social Business, Mobile Computing, Big Data and Analytics.

Pure IP's SIP Trunking service is one of the forerunners driving these trends, delivering unparalleled flexibility and accessibility to global IT communications systems. We will be bringing our expert insight in this field to the event, while using the opportunity to learn from the experiences of other CIOs – making sure Pure IP continues to be at the cutting-edge of technological development and business practice.

'Digital Enterprise' and Customer Expectations

The CIO Event organisation has leveraged their global IT community to create an academic platform that is driven by world-class executives. This years' events have been delving into the idea of 'digital enterprise', and how CIOs are utilising current and developing technology to gain a competitive advantage – right now, and into 2016.

Many contributing CIOs at the event will also be delivering their insights into how customers’ expectations are evolving within the market, and how businesses need to develop to deliver a seamless, joined-up, high-quality experience.
